Eden Theological Seminary and Webster University faculty, staff and students have full
borrowing privileges. A valid identification card is necessary to check out library materials. Webster University students, faculty, and staff can obtain ID cards and semester validation stickers at the Student Services Office in the University Center. Eden students, faculty, and staff should check with the Luhr Library circulation desk. Cards must be validated each semester.
As a courtesy, students who present a validated fall semester ID card, or their paid receipt, to the circulation desk may be granted borrowing privileges through the summer.
Audio-visual equipment, films, videos, laser discs and CD's are checked out for 3 days only unless prior arrangements have been made. Music scores, slides, audio cassette tapes, and multimedia materials circulate for 14 days. All audio-visual equipment must be checked in and out at the circulation desk.
Books may be renewed by phone or in person at either circulation desk. Patrons may place holds on books in circulation, requesting that they be notified when the books are returned. A book which carries a current hold for another patron may not be renewed to the original patron.
You may also renew items by viewing your library account in the library
catalog. A link is located in the Quick Search box and at the bottom of the main screen. You will need to enter your name and i.d. number followed by the letters "ewl". Webster students should enter their Webster i.d. number (not your social security number!); Eden students should enter the entire barcode on their library cards.
