Faculty Research Service at Emerson Library (Webster U.)
The Faculty Research Service at Emerson Library assists Webster University faculty in finding source material for:
- Research for publication in your field of teaching
- Institutional research undertaken at the behest of a Dean or Department Chair
- Classes you are teaching at Webster
We offer personal consultation with a research/liaison librarian to help with research projects. In conjunction with consultations, we also oversee clerical support for your research, including article copying, sorting, and scanning; requesting copyright permissions; and reference/ bibliographic checking and style formatting. (Note: assistance with final manuscript preparation is outside the scope of our service.)
The following individuals are eligible to use this service:
- All full time Webster faculty worldwide
- Adjunct faculty currently teaching at Webster who have taught at Webster for 3 years (minimum five semesters)
- Webster adjunct faculty who have been asked by a Dean or Department Chair or Extended Campus Director to do research for the department or institution (the 3-year requirement is waived in such instances)
