Connecting to the Library Catalog

To access the library catalog, start at the Passports home page for Webster University Library(http://library.webster.edu). Eden students can also access the catalog from Eden Library's homepage (http://library.webster.edu/luhr_library/). Click on the link Books etc./Library Catalog to connect to the catalog. You should now be at the screen shown below.

The "Quick Search" box at the top allows you to quickly enter a search term or phrase. Notice that individual types of searches (e.g. Author, Title) are listed below the Quick Search box. If you follow any of these links, you will be taken to a page with instructions and examples on using these specialized searches. We will discuss searching in more detail in a later section.
